to begin...

Perhaps I ought to finish my th*s*s. Only 2 chapters to go. But I'm at the point at which I never want to see it again and I Just Need A Break. Can't have one though.

Argh! I just want it to be all over.

I'm doing the boring "read papers and write the introduction" bit. Did I say it was boring? It's boring.

Distractions: h2g2, OxIRC, painting tiles, cooking, washing up, tidying up, putting out the rubbish, doing laundry, Mah Jongg, Tetris, email and now LJ. In fact Anything I Can Think Of.

Must concentrate.

Hah!

Welcome to LiveJournal!

Only 2 chapters to go

You're scaring me now. I'm still trying desperately to generate results.

I do have to start work immediately after Easter. And I have firmly told my supervisor "no more data processing." Mainly because the "simple thing" he suggested I do would take about 4 months.

You'll get there in the end. Although, it feels a lot better when the end is in sight.

It keeps fading in and out of sight for me though.

I have a great introduction. It's really, really good, and explains all the stages of dermal wound healing clearly and nicely with the aid of diagrams, plus it gives an overview of the thinking behind the field of mathematical biology and the motivation behind my approach to modelling.

Shame I only ever wrote two chapters of actual maths, though.

hmm I have one chapter of maths and 2 appendices going into the maths in more detail. The rest is just graphs and explaining them or describing the data.
