Apr. 9th, 2003 10:24 amWhy do chemists insist on putting their labels (which say read the information) on the side of the packet with interesting to read information on rather than the side which is blank and on which it would clearly make more sense to stick the label?
Why is it that there is no traffic as one walks along the road towards the obvious place to cross (most visibility both ways and no grass verge), until one gets close enough to that safe place to cross at which point a whole stream of traffic comes along?
Why is it that when one has to get up, one doesn't want to and yet at a weekend when one doesn't have to get up one is too restless to stay in bed?
Why is it that when it's not a beautiful day one has time to go for a walk and yet on a beautiful day one should stay in and w*rk?
Why is it that when one is busy, there are lots of people posting to LJ/h2g2/mailing lists or on IRC, but when one is borednobody is about?
Why wasn't Murphy shot at birth?
